Pengujian Saturasi Trafo Arus terhadap Pengaruh Kerja Rele Proteksi

The saturation phenomenon in current transformers has a crucial impact on the performance of protection relays in electric power systems. Experimental testing was conducted to analyze the characteristics of current transformers, focusing on the relationship between primary input current (I1), secondary output current (I2), and output voltage (V). The results showed a positive correlation between I1 and I2 and V. The V value remained constant at 5.5 Volts even though I1 increased from 600 mA to 800 mA, and the I value returned to 1.3 A at a certain voltage in a separate test. potential saturation of the transformer core or non-linear behavior of the components under test, which could potentially affect the accuracy of current measurement by the protection relay. especially when approaching or entering saturation conditions. Non-linear behavior, as indicated by stable V values at two different points of I1, and a decrease in I at increasing voltage, thorough testing of the current transformer characteristics to ensure the protection relay can operate accurately and timely, especially in the face of fault conditions that might cause transformer saturation.
