Perencanaan Lahan Parkir Pada Masjid Agung At-Taqwa Kutacane

This research focuses on planning the need for parking space for the Great Mosque of At-Taqwa in Kutacane. The background of the research is based on the general problem of lack of parking facilities in public facilities, which can cause illegal parking and interfere with the performance of traffic around it, especially during prayer times and Islamic holidays. The research method uses a quantitative approach by analyzing secondary data such as land area, mosque capacity (3,500 worshippers), and Parking Space Unit (SRP) standards for two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. The analysis was carried out by calculating the parking capacity that can be accommodated on the existing land in front and side of the mosque. The results of the study show that the total parking capacity that can be planned on existing land is 201.1 SRP (consisting of 53.8 SRP for cars and 165.2 SRP for motorcycles). However, when compared to the needs based on the capacity of worshippers (using the standard approach of parking sports venues), the real needs of this mosque are estimated to be more than 790 SRP. Thus, it was concluded that the existing parking lot was not adequate to accommodate pilgrims' vehicles. Therefore, this study recommends to mosque construction committees to consider adding parking lots to meet the needs and prevent the impact of illegal parking around the mosque area
