Excavated Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) waste is generally not reused and often accumulates as discarded demolition material in the vicinity of project sites. This material is frequently considered to be of low quality and unsuitable for reuse as construction material. This research aims to evaluate the potential of utilizing excavated HMA waste as a mixed material in the production of Base Course (LPA) for road pavement construction.The study was conducted using laboratory methods with five variations of excavated HMA waste mixtures: 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%, replacing 1-2 cm crushed stone. Performance evaluation was based on the soaked California Bearing Ratio (CBR) values.The test results showed that the mixture with 20% excavated HMA waste yielded a soaked CBR value of 100.2%, while the 30% mixture resulted in a soaked CBR value of 94.4%. Both of these values exceed the minimum requirement of 90% stipulated in the Bina Marga General Specification 2018 Revision 2.Therefore, excavated HMA waste has good potential as an alternative material for Base Course (LPA), which not only supports cost efficiency but also contributes to the reduction of construction waste.
