Electrical Engineering Study Program students together with lecturers and alumni made an industrial visit to the SIGURA-GURA PLTA PT. INALUM with the main aim of providing direct understanding to students about the process of generating electricity from water energy sources. Students will see firsthand how water is converted into electrical energy through hydropower processes, including the process of storing water, building dams, regulating water flow, and converting kinetic energy into electricity. By understanding the main objective of this service activity, it is hoped that a visit to the PLTA can provide a useful experience for electrical engineering students at Darma Agung University in understanding the role of renewable energy in sustainable development and increasing their awareness of global environmental issues.
