Pengaruh Komitmen Organisasi Dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Terhadap Kinerja Dosen

This study aims to examine and obtain empirical evidence regarding the partial and simultaneous influence of organizational commitment and leadership style variables on lecturer performance at Hein Namotemo University. The type of research used is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. This study uses primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The sampling technique used is Non-Probability Sampling with a Convenience Sampling technique. The number of samples used is 33 respondents. The data analysis technique employed in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of partial hypothesis testing, it was found that the organizational commitment variable has a statistically positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. This means that the stronger the organizational commitment, the greater the positive impact on lecturer performance. The leadership style variable, however, was found to have no statistically significant effect on lecturer performance at Hein Namotemo University. This implies that the quality of leadership style, whether good or poor, does not lead to changes in lecturer performance. Meanwhile, the simultaneous test results indicate that the variables of organizational commitment and leadership style together have a significant effect on lecturer performance at Hein Namotemo University. The coefficient of determination (R²) result shows an R-square value of 0.274 or 27.4%. This indicates that 27.4% of the variation in lecturer performance (Y) is influenced by the organizational commitment (X1) and leadership style (X2) variables, while the remaining 72.6% (100% - 27.4%) is influenced by other factors not explained in this study.
