This study aims to explore the business strategies adopted by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Jambi City in responding to the phenomenon of Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) in the online marketplace. Employing a qualitative approach with a phenomenological perspective, this research seeks to deeply understand the experiences and perceptions of MSME actors regarding consumer behavior dynamics influenced by FOMO. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with ten MSME owners or managers, as well as documentation related to marketing and promotional activities on digital platforms. Data analysis was conducted using thematic analysis with the aid of NVivo software, allowing for the identification of patterns, themes, and emerging strategies within MSME business practices. The findings reveal a variety of adaptive strategies implemented by MSMEs to leverage and respond to FOMO-driven consumer behavior, including product innovation, limited-time promotions, and intensive interactions on social media. These results are expected to provide theoretical contribution to the academic understanding of digital marketing dynamics for MSMEs and offer practical implications for designing business strategies that are responsive to modern consumer behavior.
