One of the largest components in the electric power system is the cost of fuel. One solution to minimize this problem is the microgrid system. This microgrid concept combines thermal power plants with renewable energy (EBT) power plants. Integration between the two types of power plants must be good to achieve a good reliability system. One way to optimize the use of these two power plant systems is the application of unit commitment (UC). UC is an economical operating method, to schedule the operation of each power plant unit in a certain period of time. The focus of this study is solving the unit commitment problem for the microgrid electricity system in Sumbawa Regency. In the solution process, 2 models were developed, namely: the first model, the entire system is served by diesel power plants and the second model, the integration of diesel power plants, wind power plants, solar panels and batteries with penetration of 5%, 10% and 15%. The enumeration method is used as a solution method. The purpose of this study, in addition to minimizing fuel costs, is also to find out how good the enumeration method is in solving the problem. Based on the calculation results, the cost efficiency of the microgrid system at each penetration is 6%, 12% and 18% when compared to the generating system that only uses diesel generators.
