Pencegahan Stunting Melalui Ketahanan Pangan Tanaman Organik Di Desa Tanasumpu

Stunting is a dangerous health problem that causes illness, death, and problems with motor and mental growth. Stunting is caused by malnutrition over a long period of time, especially during the first thousand days of life. Although it continues to decline, the number of stunting around the world is still very high. Therefore, stunting is a serious problem that needs to be considered and resolved This service activity is carried out in Tanasumpu Village. The purpose of this activity is to educate and assist the community in preventing and alleviating stunting problems. The methods used are surveying the causes of stunting, socializing stunting prevention, socializing the use of yards and making planting media and organic fertilizers and distributing organic vegetables ready for consumption to the community. The result of this service activity is an increase in public knowledge and understanding of the causes of stunting and how to overcome it through the use of yards and consumption of nutritious food. Thus, providing education, utilizing yards, and consuming nutritious foods such as vegetables can help prevent stunting problems in the community
